BioRebalance is Backed By Science
Our mission with BioRebalance is to simplify the process of tailoring cutting-edge nutritional regimens to your physical and mental health goals.
Nutrient Support draws upon international clinical guidelines as well as groundbreaking research by researchers who pioneered the relationships between nutrition, epigenetics, and overall health.
Decades of research have demonstrated that supplementation with amino acid precursors of neurotransmitters, along with coenzymes, may help to support healthy brain function, energy levels, and stress relief. (Reference 1)
Holistic Mood Support
BioRebalance provides amino acid building blocks for neurotransmitters associated with:
Dopamine
Serotonin
Endorphins
GABA
Emerging research reminds us that brain health and bodily health are interconnected. A healthy liver, gut, and immune system are all required for optimal neurotransmitter balance. We aim to create supplements that support the Gut-Liver-Brain Axis.
BioRebalance products contain carefully selected, premium ingredients that help to support your body-brain system. We want to empower you to summon the energy and optimism required to live your Best Life.
Founded by scientists, clinicians, and experts in nutrition and holistic health.
The Ingredients
BioRebalance Restore contains absolutely zero fillers, sugar, artificial flavours, or artificial sweeteners. We blend the highest quality nutrients proven to holistically support numerous bodily systems.
Amino acids are included because they are the most essential precursors for neurotransmitters
LPA (L-Phenylalanine) – Precursor for dopamine. Low dopamine levels are associated with feeling unmotivated, unsatisfied, and lethargic. (References 5-8).
DPA (D-Phenylalanine) – Neutralizes enzymes in the body that destroy endorphins, increasing endorphin levels. (References 3, 4, 13).
L-Tyrosine – Supports synthesis of dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine, which regulate adrenal stress hormones. (References 9, 10).
L-Glutamine – Precursor for GABA. Increasing GABA may help to promote emotional stability. (Reference 14).
5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophane) / L-Tryptophan – Precursor for serotonin. Several investigations have found that 5-HTP may be helpful for reducing unhealthy cravings. (Reference 12).
SAMe (S-Adenysol-L-Methionine) – Enhances serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine production while supporting liver function against oxidative stress (References 15-17).
Antioxidants and minerals are included to support healthy neurotransmitter levels and foster whole-body health
Vitamin C – Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and may support liver function. (Reference 32)
B Complex – Vitamins B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B9 (folic acid), B12 (cobalamin). B-vitamins serve as co-enzymes in liver detoxification processes, cell and neuron formation, and DNA synthesis. Their neurological functions are fundamental in supporting “dopamine homeostasis” and production of the neurotransmitters serotonin, GABA and endorphins (References 1-4). A high dose of B complex not only supports cognitive function (Reference 20), it also supports liver detoxification and adrenal function (Reference 21).
Chromium – Increases receptor sensitivity to 5-HTP, supporting serotonin synthesis and dopamine homeostasis. (Reference 33)
Zinc – The combination of zinc, high dose vitamin C, and SAMe provides strong anti-oxidative benefits. Studies show that zinc may be useful for supporting liver health and mood stability. (References 34-35).
Essential Fatty Acids are included because they support liver and brain health
PPC (PolyenylPhosphatidylCholine) – Studies show PPC promotes liver function. PPC actually surrounds every cell in the body, and it’s one of the most potent and well-studied liver support compounds. (References 15, 18, 19).
Three holistic bioflavonoid compounds are included because they stand out for their benefits in supporting the gut-liver-brain axis:
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) – Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine for its calming effects. It is known to regulate responses to stress and reduce cortisol levels. Five recent intervention studies found that supplementing with ashwagandha resulted in significantly lower levels of stress. (Reference 28)
Acai Berry Powder – These incredibly nutrient-dense berries from the Amazon rainforest include high levels of plant compounds including anthocyanins, a powerful source of antioxidants. The antioxidant power of acai berry has been measured at over 300% greater than blueberries.
Red Beet Root Powder – Red beet root powder is a potent source of anti-inflammatory antioxidants and has been shown to help increase nitric oxide levels in the body. Nitric oxide is necessary to promote blood vessel dilation and circulation, thereby helping to ensure the delivery of critical nutrients to tissues and cells.
In contrast to cheaper products, Nutrient Support contains absolutely no sugar, artificial sweeteners, or artificial flavours. It is fruit flavoured and sweetened with two health-promoting plants:
Stevia Powder – Stevia is a South American herb related to daisy flowers, also known as “candy leaf.” It has become popular among health enthusiasts because it contains sweet compounds without any sugar. Moreover, there is speculation among scientists that this plant may promote inflammation reduction. It has been used for centuries traditionally for colic, burns, and stomach problems.
Monkfruit Powder – Monkfruit, also known as Luo Han Guo or Swingle Fruit, is a tasty and antioxidant-rich fruit native to East Asia. It is increasingly used along with stevia in higher-end supplements and smoothies to help provide sweetness.
The purpose of BioRebalance is to help you holistically support your Gut-Liver-Brain axis and reap the benefits of potent micronutrients.
The Science behind BioRebalance
In 1968, Dr. Linus Pauling – the only scientist to win two Nobel Prizes – pioneered the “orthomolecular” approach to health. “Ortho” is Greek for “correct,” and “molecular” in this context refers to cellular health.
The orthomolecular approach aims to promote the optimum environment of the body by addressing deficiencies and imbalances based on individual biochemistry.
Official health guidelines now recognize the importance of nutrition for mental health. A growing number of evidence-based health centers now seek to incorporate orthomolecular treatments into their regimens.
